Where to begin. This place is just fantastic. The room was great with everything you could want and more. We both got a very relaxing and wonderful nights sleep. Breakfast was spot on but probably the best part of all were the hosts David and Agnes. They made us feel like we were at home and their only interest was to make sure our stay was excellent. We will return to the IOW and this is where we want to stay without a doubt.

This really is a lovely little bed and breakfast !!! Excellent service; rooms spacious clean and very well equipped with everything you need and more. Cupboard space a plenty; shower room fridge milk coffee kettle coffee machine fan and all you require. Breakfast Excellent to get you on your journey; but most of all Agnes the proprietor is a warm welcoming friendly and can't do enough for you. This place you may well overlook when searching for a b&b due to location; just don't its well worth the stay. Close to town and bus links 10/10.

Ponders end was emmaculately clean with comfy beds and a lovely breakfast. Although a little noisy from the nearby busy road once the windows were closed couldn't hear a thing. The hosts Agnes and David were very warm and welcoming. Perfect ????

We have recently stayed at Ponders End for the August bank holiday scooter rally. We booked 3 rooms between the 4 of us and were met by Agnes.Shes a lovely woman that showed us around and told us to treat the place like home .Her husband David was there also throughout our stay and made us very welcome and told us of the local area around Ponders End.Nothing was too much for them in helping us enjoy our stay to the full.We were given free run of the house and came and went as we pleased to and from our rooms which had fridges with fresh orange juice, ice cold water,2 pints of milk in each fridge and biscuits as well as tea and coffee{in pots},not just your regular sachets. The rooms were very clean and airy as was the immaculate bedding and towels.Washing/shower facilities were very good as everything you needed was supplied along with a full english breakfast {not a tight one either}.plenty on the plate cooked by Agnes and David and served by David..followed by fruit salad{5-6 different sliced fruits on a plate}.Cerials were plentiful. We usually stay in central Newport and Ponders End was just outside this area but buses were less than 100 yards from the house.I just would like to apologise for my mate Marks snoring during our stay lol. Thanks very much to both of our hosts for looking after us.

We can only repeat what previous reviewers have said of the excellent room, breakfast and service generally. As a native Islander like David (Caulkheads) returning for a brief holiday break it was a particular pleasure to reminisce old times and places with him. We will return.

This was my second visit to Ponders End. This trip was even better than last time (and that was very enjoyable). I already miss having my breakfast chat with Agnes and the cricket updates from David (the T20 World Cup was happening). All I can say is - comfortable room - handy location and beautiful people. Going back soon. ????????
